The old WSB24 may or may not connect to your WRT54G, depending on the type of external antenna connectors you have on the router. I've been told that Linksys changed those connectors on later models. Tomato does indeed have an output wattage hack, but I've left mine at roughly 75% power to feed into the WSB24 without overdriving it.
